What is a Europass?
Europass is a personal file of five (5) documents that describe the academic qualifications, professional knowledge, and personal skills and abilities acquired by a person during his/herAcademic studies and work experience. These are: (1) the Europass CV, (2) the Europass Diploma Supplement, (3) the Europass Certificate Supplement, (4) the Europass Mobility, and (5) the Europass Language Passport. European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS)
The programmes of study of the Philips College are based on credit units (ECTS).European Credit Transfer System (ECTS) is based on the principles that 60 credits are approximately equal to the workload of a full-time student during one academic year.
As a general rule, all students of a Bachelor Degree must successfully complete a minimum of 240 ECTS and for a Master Degree at least 90 ECTS. Although there is no direct correspondence between ECTS and one contact hour on an approximate ratio of 2:1, initially applied to instigate the validation process.
